Day 1. Belgrade (D) (cca 20km)
Arrive in Belgrade. Accommodation in a hotel. Panoramic and walking tour of Belgrade with a local tourist guide: Kalemegdan fortress, primary built by Celts in the third century. Republica Square, Knez Mihailova Street, Belgrade's main pedestrian zone. Terazije, St. Sava Orthodox Church, Parliament and St. Mark's Church and the Royal palace. Free time. Dinner in a national restaurant. Overnight.

Day 2. Belgrade – Sremska Mitrovica – Zasavica – Belgrade (BLD) (cca 170km)
Breakfast. Depart for Sremska Mitrovica an archeological site and museum. One of the oldest towns in Europe, it was once known as Sirmium, the capital of the Roman Empire. The complex is an archeological site of excavated objects that today is a unique open-air museum. Visit the Zasavica Special Nature Reserve, famous for its numerous and diverse wildlife. Lunch. Depart for Belgrade. Free time for dinner. Overnight.

Day 3 Belgrade – Maradik – Fruska Gora Monasteries – Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad - Belgrade (BLD) (cca 215km)
Breakfast. Depart for Maradik. Visit a 150-year-old ethnohouse in Maradik. The house features exhibits that are between 50 and 200 years old. Visit the Krusedol monastery, which was established by Bishop Maksim (Djordje Brankovic) in the XVI century. Visit the Grgeteg monastery, which was built in 1471 by Despot Vuk Brankovic. Depart for Sremski Karlovci. Lunch. Sightseeing in Sremski Karlovci, a small baroque town famous for its beautiful architecture. Visit the town's Orthodox church, Patriarchate court, Orthodox Seminary, the Chapel of peace, Roman Catholic church and Gymnasium. Depart for Novi Sad. Panoramic sightseeing of key city sights and a short walk through the pedestrian zone. The stroll will include Sloboda Square, the Cathedral, City Hall, Zmaj Jovina Street, Dunavska Streeta and the Orthodox Church. Return to Belgrade. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 4. Belgrade (BLD)
Breakfast. Free time for individual activities. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 5. Belgrade – Golubac – Kladovo (BLD) (cca 240km)
Breakfast. Depart for Golubac and visit the famous XIV century Golubac fortress. Visit the Djerdap National Park, the greatest natural and archaeological museum in Europe. Visit numerous cultural and historical sights, including Lepenski Vir, a unique prehistoric site discovered approximately twenty years ago. The site represents the first traces of civilization in this area. Visit Diana, a Roman fort build during the period of Trajan the Emperor. Lunch. Depart for Kladovo, famous for its cultural and historical sights. Accommodation. Free time. Dinner in a hotel. Overnight.

Day 6. Kladovo – Zajecar – Nis (BLD) (cca 205km)
Breakfast. Depart for Zajecar. Visit the Felix Romuliana Roman complex in Gamzigrad, one of the most important late Roman-era sites in Europe. Arrival in Nis / Naisus / home town of Constantine. Mediana site visit - the summer residence of Emperor Constantine. Visit to the Skull Tower, the monument from the Turkish period, the museum, fortress and monument Saban Bajramovic - Gypsy famous jazz musicians. Dinner at a traditional restaurant. Overnight.

Day 7. Nis – Caricin Grad – Prohor Pcinjski Monastery – Prolom Spa (BLD) (cca 300km)
Breakfast. Depart for Leskovac. Visit Caricin Grad (Queens town), one of the most significant Byzantine cities of the central Balkans, built by the Byzantine emperor Justinian. The town developed in the Byzantine province of Ilirik, where Justinian was born. Depart for Prohor Pcinjski monastery, near the town of Vranje. The Byzantine emperor Roman Diogen built the monastery and dedicated it to St. Prohor Pčinjski, who had a premonition that Diogen would become an emperor. Lunch package. Depart for Prolom Spa. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner in a hotel. Overnight.

Day 8. Prolom Spa - Devil's Town – Prolom Spa (BLD) (cca 30km)
Breakfast. Depart for Djavolja Varos (Devil’s Town), a site with an unusual name and appearance. Visit this nature site, famous for two rare phenomena: a collection of rock formations of various shapes and sizes and two mineral water springs. Lunch. Return to hotel. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 9. Prolom Spa – Novi Pazar –Djurdjevi Stupovi Monastery – Sopocani – Gradac Monastery – Novi Pazar (BLD) (cca 130km)
Breakfast. Depart for Novi Pazar. Accommodation. Visit the ruins of the Djurdjevi Stupovi monastery, built by the Great Zupan (ruler) Stefan. Visit Sopocani monastery, famous for numerous frescoes and built by Uros I Nemanjic. Depart for Gradac monastery, built by Jelena Anzujska, wife of King Uros I. The monastery’s main church is dedicated to Blagovesti; it is the most prominent and earliest example of Gothic architecture in Serbia. Return to Novi Pazar. Lunch. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 10. Novi Pazar – Studenica Monastery – Zica Monastery – Vrnjacka Spa (BLD) (cca 130km)
Breakfast. Sightseeing in Novi Pazar. Depart for Studenica monastery, dedicated to the Presentation of the Holy Virgin. Lunch in the monastery. Depart for Maglic, a medieval fortress along the Ibar River Gorge that best represents the monuments of medieval Serbian military architecture. Journey to the XIII century Zica monastery, a principal endowment of King Stefan Prvovencani. Depart for Vrnjacka Spa. Accommodation. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 11. Vrnjacka Spa –Kalenic Monastery –Ljubostinja Monastery – Vrnjacka Spa (BLD) (cca 60km)
Breakfast. Visit to Kalenic monastery, which was founded by Protovestiar (high Byzantine title) Bogdan, his wife Milica, and his brother Peter. Visit Ljubostinja monastery, founded by Princess Milica and Prince Lazar. The church is dedicated to the Dormition of the Holy Virgin and represents the Morava School. Return to Vrnjacka Spa. Lunch. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 12. Vrnjacka Spa – Kragujevac –Ravanica Monastery –Ravanica Monastery –Manasija Monastery –Pokajnica Monastery – Belgrade (BL) (cca 280km)
Breakfast. Depart for Kragujevac. Sightseeing. Depart for the XIV century Ravanica monastery, an endowment of the Serbian Prince Lazar, father of despot Stefan Lazarevic. Prince Lazar was buried here after his death in the Battle of Kosovo. Visit the XV century Manasija monastery, an endowment of Despot Stefan Lazarevic and one of the most significant monuments of medieval Serbian culture. Visit the XIX century Pokajnica monastery, built by Duke Vujice Vulićevića on the order of Prince Milos Obrenovic. Lunch in Velika Plana. Depart for Belgrade airport. End of program.
