Take a short bike tour in and around Belgrade and Novi Sad. Ride through the prehistoric Deliblato Sands desert, the largest sandy terrain in Europe. Explore the rugged and spectacular terrain of Fruska Gora. Experience the open road the balmy breezes of Serbia on this fun bike journey!

Day 1 Belgrade (D) (cca 35km – by bus: cca 20km, by bike: cca 15km)
Arrive to Belgrade airport. Special welcome and transfer to a hotel in Belgrade. Accommodation. Half day bike tour of Belgrade. Sightseeing tour of the city, visit to the Kalemegdan fortress, primary built by Celts in the third century. Republica Square, Knez Mihailova Street, Belgrade's main pedestrian zone. Lunch in a traditional restaurant on Skadarlija Street. Return to hotel. Free time. Dinner in a floating restaurant. Overnight.

Day 2 Belgrade – Deliblato Sand – Vrsac - Belgrade (BLD) (cca 180km - by bus: cca 105km, by bike: cca 75km)
Breakfast. Bus ride to Banat along the shores of the Danube and crossing over the edge of the Deliblato Sand. This sandy relief abounds with dunes and is the oldest and most unique in Europe; it is a well-preserved eco-system abundant with rare plant species. Short break in an ethnic Hungarian village. Lunch. Arrive in Vrsac. Bike ride through the largest vineyards of the former Yugoslavia (1700 hectares). Continue on to neighboring villages, famous for their wine cellars. Visit wine cellars and sample local wine. Visit a local home and enjoy a delicious traditional dinner. Return to Belgrade. Overnight.

Day 3. Belgrade – Fruska Gora Mountain – Krusedol Monastery – Sremski Karlovci – Novi Sad (BLD) (cca 130km – by bus: cca 115km, by bike: cca 15km)
Breakfast. Bus ride to Fruska Gora Mountain. Visit the Krusedol monastery, which was established by Bishop Maksim (Djordje Brankovic) in the XVI century; it is one of the most beautiful monasteries in Fruska Gora. The monastery’s church is dedicated to Blagovesti and features hand-painted frescoes dating back to the XVI century. Bike ride to Sremski Karlovci. Lunch on the shores of the Danube. Sightseeing of the most significant cultural and historical sites of Sremski Karlovci -- Saborna Church, the city’s famous high school, Bogoslovija, Cetiri Lava, the Four Lions Spring and the Patriarchy Court. Visit a wine cellar. Sample a local snack and Bermet, the locally produced aromatic wine. Return by bus to Novi Sad. Depart for Novi Sad. Accommodation in a hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 4. Novi Sad – Subotica – Hajdukovo – Subotica (BLD) (cca 200km – by bus:cca 170km, by bike: cca 30km)
Breakfast. See Novi Sad by bike -- Orthodox Church, Catholic Church, Zmaj Jovina Street, Dunavska Street and Trg Slobode. Depart by bus for Subotica. Accommodation. Depart for Hajdukovo. Visit a family farm famous for its wine production. Lunch and wine tasting. Return to Subotica. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 5. Subotica - Budapest (B) (cca 250km – by bus: cca 230 km, by bike: cca 20km)
Breakfast. Morning sightseeing in Subotica – City Hall with City museum, Synagogue, Reinchard palace. Depart by bus for Budapest. End of the program.
