Concerts and live gigs in Serbia prompt increase in tourist numbers!

This year is a firm testimony that Serbia has affirmed itself as a prominent venue for performances of leading international bands and musicians. Therefore, Serbia justly takes up important spot on this highly acclaimed world music venues list. From March until September 2013, music stages throughout the country will host an array of artists and we anticipate some thrilling performances accompanied by great atmosphere among friendly locals.

Sabaton - 20th of March, Rammstein - 28th of April, Mark Knopfler - 30th of April, Andrea Bocelli - 10th of May, Depeche mode - 19th of May, Joe Satriani - 24th of May, Green day - 27th of May, Roger Waters - 1st of September

Concert season (with foreign artist who are coming to our country), will be opened by Sweden Metal Band Sabaton. On Wednesday, March 20th, at the Dom omladine (the home of Youth),  they will perform as part of their Swedish Empire tour. The band will promote the latest edition Carolus Recc.

Rammstein, with new production, even more amazing pyrotechnics and the latest hits, is coming at the Kombank Arena on Sunday, April 28th. Amazing Germans are coming with the tour “Wir halten das tempo” (We keep the rhythm). Rammstein – “Du hast”, “Sonne”, “Ohne dich”, “Freuer frei!”, “Engel”.

Two days after performance of Rammstein, something totally different is coming to the Kombank Arena. Mark Knopfler will represent his guitar skills. The audience will have opportunity to see why he has sold 120 million copies of the album, and the reason he won multiple Grammy awards and also the reason why he won theLifetime Achievement Award "Ivor Novello" (highest award for music artists in the UK). Andrea Bocelli, one of the most recognized tenors of Today, arriving at the Kombank Arena on 10th of May. Known as “the legend of new millennium”, he has very diverse repertoire sang during the 18 years of career – from belicante to verse, from spiritual repertoire to popular ballads. He released 30 albums with performances of operas, pop songs and ballads. His name is in the Guinness book of records as the best seller albums on America’s classical music releases top list.

Depeche mode – the most popular electronic band in the world, regarding the magazine “Q”, will perform at Belgrade Usce on May the 19th under their European tour. They are on the list of "50 bands that has changed the world" and sounds great in live. Depeche mode – “Personal Jesus”, “Enjoy the Silence”, “It's No Good”, “Dream On”.

On May, 24th in Sava Center is arriving the Joe Satriani! Whit recognizable and specific style of playing, 10 million albums copies sold, 14 nominations for Grammy award, fifth place on the list of the best guitar player of all time in magazine “Guitar World”, he is definitely one of the most respectful and the most influential guitarist in the world.

Green day are promoting their three new albums – “Uno!”, “Dos!”, “Tre!” on Kalemegdan, in great park of Lower city, on 27th of May. The owners of five Grammy awards, numbers of MTV awards, with millions of views on social networks, are amazing when playing live.
