Topola is a place where the founder of the prominent Serbian dynasty, Prince Karađorđe Petrović, led the 1804th The First Serbian Uprising against the Turks. Here is a fortified city built by Karađorđe of which are preserved today - Konak with the tower, Church of the Holy Virgin, barracks and schools. Inevitable attraction is the magnificent building of white marble on top of Oplenac, which is the mausoleum of the Karadjordjevic family, and whose interior is covered with mosaics composed of 40 million elements. Here are copies of the most beautiful frescoes from 60 Serbian monasteries.

Oplenac area preserved the tradition of growing grapes and making wine since the Roman period. Romans named the nearby village Vinca after its wine - Vince. This tradition is continued by the rulers of famous dynasties Obrenovic and Karadjordjevic. According to the recipe used to produce the best wine that was once made at the King's cellar, today, "Alexandrovich" still continue to make one of the best Serbian wines - Triumph.
