Trajan Bridge (104 – 105 A.D.) near Kladovo, was raised over Danube, by Emperor Trajan, for the purpose of conquering of Dakija, nowadays Romania, so it belongs to the most significant masterpieces of Roman architecture.

Only remnants of the pillar remained after the bridge demolition, during Hadrian, the Trajan’s inheritor.
