Hotel chains in Serbia

Serbia becomes a more and more popular destination for intercontinental hotels chains. Currently, the most of them are situated in Belgrade: Hyatt Hotels, InterContinental Hotels, Best Western International, Falkensteiner, Starwood Hotels, Golden Tulip chain.

Hyatt Hotels is a hotel chain which has the longest tradition in Serbia. They also have more than 50 years of hospitality expertise with almost 500 properties. Hotel Hyatt Regency,5*, is one of the most luxurious hotels not just in Belgrade but also in the whole country.

InterContinental Hotels is a hotel chains from Great Britain. It is the largest hotels company in the world measured by rooms. It owns over 4,500 hotels across over 100 countries. For now, in Serbia there is just one hotel from this hotel group: hotel Holiday Inn 4* located in the main business zone of Novi Beograd which primarily is suitable to travelers in the transit.

Best Western International is the world’s biggest hotel family with more than 4000 hotels in over 100 countries and territories worldwide. There are five hotels from this hotels chain in our country: two in Belgrade: Best Western Hotel Šumadija is  a modern business hotel in a peaceful part of the city, near the lake Ada Ciganlija and Belgrade racetrack and Best Western M in a park “Banjička šuma” designed for businessmen and sportsmen; one in Novi Sad: Best Western Prezident Hotel, modern and luxurious building near Novi Sad Fair; one in Niš: Best Western My Place in a city center, with modern ambient; and one in Ruma: Best Western Hotel Park Ruma  - hotel adapted for seminars, conferences and team building.

Falkensteiner Michaeler Tourism Group AG (FMTG) is a Italian – Austrian group which has two hotels in Serbia: Falkensteiner hotel Novi Beograd, 4*, with futuristic architecture, modern design and spacious rooms, and Falkensteiner hotel Stara Planina, 4*, family hotel on Stara Planina, one of the most beautiful mountain in Serbia.

Hotel Metropol Palace, 5*, belongs to American hotels group Starwood Hotels &Resorts Worldwide Inc. It is located in the city center; stand out with its unique design.

Golden Tulip chain operates three brands, Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip, Royal Tulip with a total over 200 hotels in 40 countries. Tulip Inn Putnik Belgrade offers comfortable and functional stay to business and leisure travelers.

Hotel Continental, the largest hotel in Belgrade, now is in a phase of renovation and will be a part of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group). Hotel will have five stars and most of all it will be designed for travelers who are coming in group, on seminars, competitions and conferences.

Also, from this hotel chains we will have Holiday Inn Express hotel, 3*, located in Ruzveltova street. 

The building of a former important company Jugodrvo, in the Vasina street in Belgrade is in a phase of construction and will be part of a hotel chain Meriot, under the name “Courtyard Belgrade City Center”.

American - Belgian hotel chain Rezidor Hotel Group announce the beginning of building a new hotel: Radisson Blu Old Mill Hotel, 4*, in Boulevard of Vojvoda Mišić near Belgrade Fair.  

Swiss hotel group “Kempinski Hotels”, the oldest European group of luxurious hotels and resorts will take over renovation of hotel Jugoslavija. Then, this hotel will have 5 stars.
