One of the perfect places to visit in Vojvodina is a farmstead or “salaš”. These are located on a property outside of a village and usually includes a house and accessory buildings, stables, sheds etc. Many ''salaši'' are catering to tourists with full comfortable accommodation and some include an outdoor swimming-pool, horse-farm or other recreational options. On a more traditional ''salaš'' families continue to live as their ancestors did. Several of these farmstead owners continue to live without electricity or running water.
