According to data from the archeological site at Timacum Minus, wine-growing and wine-production in the vineyards of this region dates back to Roman times. At this site a statue of Dionysis, Roman god of wine, was excavated.

Overnight in Motel Barka. The motel has 28 beds. All rooms have WC, telephone and TV. The motel has pleasant surroundings and is relatively new.

Near the village of Ravna the Roman fortification of Timacum minus, with its excavated walls and parts of a civilian settlement, demonstrates the historic period in this region from the times of the Middle Ages on. There are also excavated remains of another ancient town, Timacum maius.

Rajacke pimnice are a unique architectural accumulation of 270 wine-cellars, built from the second half of the 18th century up until the 1930's. The "pimnice" are built from trimmed stone and beams. The houses are connected by streets and small squares. The cellars are partially underground and on the ground floor there are rooms to live in during the grape-harvest.
