Why visiting Serbia?

RajacSituated at the intersection between the East and the West, Serbia is a combination of ancient cultures and civilizations with a charming mix of traditional and modern ways. Leaving behind its history of hard times, Serbia is a dynamic country which desires to adopt the contemporary values of Europe. If you ever visit Serbia you will be won over by its culture, natural beauty and warmhearted Slavic hospitality. Visitors of Serbia will be hosted by an amazing diversity of habitats including plains, wetllands and mountains. Those that are thrilled with nature waters may enjoy the springs, rivers, lakes and geysers. There are plenty of woods for exploring. Serbia boasts the largest sandy desert called Deliblato Sand and the only jungle in Europe which can be found in Perucac.

On Zlatibor visitors can pampered in our spas or just enjoy a slow walk or bike ride in the mountains. For more serious adventures, Tara Mountain offers extreme mountain climbing and mountain biking. In the mountains hikers may observe wildlife or even track their footprints. Bird watchers will enjoy viewing almost 400 different species of birds which can be found here. The country's beauty and natural diversity make it a must see for all tourists.

SrbijaThere is plenty of history to be discovered with archeolocical sites from the Neolithic and Mesolithic era, medievel monasteries and historic churches. Village life is an important aspect of Serbian culture. A visit to a traditional village will provide a glimpse into the forgotten traditional way of life and allows you an escape from a hectic life style. Delicious food and natural quietness all surrounded by a genuine openheartedness are things which you will certainly discover in a visit to a village salas or farmstead where the traditional way of life has been preserved. While in Serbia do not miss Sljivovica (plum brandy), cevapcici (similar to the Turkish kebbab), local wines, pecenje ispo saca (traditionally roasted meat), feta cheese, kajmak cream from Zlatibor and prsuta (smoked ham). These traditional Serbian delicacies can be enjoyed at a restaurant while being seranaded by tambura players or a trumpet which are traditional Serbian instruments. We are sure that visitors of Serbia will enjoy the many different aspects of Serbian culture from the cosmopolitan feel of the big cities to its exotic and undiscovered regions.
We believe that visitors travellig to Serbia will be pleasantly surprised after they experience what Serbia has to offer.
