Kikinda is situated in the northeast of Banat, not far from the Romanian border. The most important roads are Zrenjanin - Kikinda - Senta (M-24), then Novi Becej - Kikinda - Nakovo - Romanian border. The municipality of Zabalj is situated in the south of Backa, in Sajkas's region. The regional road Novi Sad - Zrenjanin passes by Zabalj.
Zabalj was mentioned for the first time in 1514 as fortress taken by Doze Djerd. It was given the name Jozeldorf in 1784, and four years later it became a center of batallion's Protoprezerviter. After the revolution its old name was given back.
The most beautiful object in Zabalj is St. Father Nikolaj Temple. 
The municipality of Temerin is situated in Backa, in the valley of the river Jegricka, not far from the capital of Vojvodina. It is on the road Novi Sad - Senta and it is connected by motorways and railroads with Becej, Srbobran and Zrenjanin.
Temerin was mentioned for the first time in 1332. The settlement was even to the last decennium of the 19th century in feudal properties of Hungarian aristocrats and rich shopkeepers. In Temerin, there are some very interesting buildings from the 19th century and an old castle from 1796, which are exemplars of typical Pannonian architecture 
The municipality of Sombor is situated in the northwest of Backa. The river Danube separates this community from Croatia and in the north this community borders with Hungary. The community of Sombor is very well connected by regional roads which go from Backi Breg, Subotica, Novi Sad and Odzaci. Sombor is 175 km from Belgrade, and 220 km from Budapest.
Sombor is an old plain town, known for beautiful parks and rich greenery. Sombor is also the place of rich culture, political history and important sports tradition. 
Apatin with its surroundings has a couple of tourist localities, firstly of hunting and fishing contents of I category. For eco - safari lovers there are the following localities: Bestrement, Kupusinski Dunavac, Ciganski Dunavac and Kandljija Pesak. Junakovic Spa is also situated nearly to Apatin. The river Danube is the greatest gift of nature to Backa Palanka. There is the lake Tikvara that stretches on 500 ha.
The complex Tikvara that offers different sports, recreation and entertaining contents is built next to the lake. On the territory of the community there is a great number of archaeological, ethnological and cultural monuments among which the most important are the archaeological locality near Celarevo, the so-called Avarian necropola and the old house in Nestin, a pearl of Serbian architecture from the first half of the XVIII century. 
The find of the locality Gradina testifies that life in this area dates since prehistoric times, and in the ancient town Berkasovo, a helmet from Roman times was found. Sid with its picturesque surroundings, mild slopes of the mountain Fruska Gora, water currents of Sava, Bosut and Studva and three reservoirs near Sot and Erdevik offer different possibilities for vacation and recreation. 
One of the perfect places to visit in Vojvodina is a farmstead or salasi. These are located on a property outside of a village and usually includes a house and accessory buildings, stables, sheds etc. Don’t miss it.
Many salasi' are catering to tourists with full comfortable accommodation and some include an outdoor swimming-pool, horse-farm or other recreational options. On a more traditional ''salas'' families continue to live as their ancestors did. Several of these farmstead owners continue to live without electricity or running water. 
Zobnatica is most famous for their horse breeding tradition which they have continued for almost 200 years. Zobnatica offers horseback riding, riding school and hackney-carriage rides.

The Regional Park of Gornje Podunavlje represents an area of an extreme significance for the permanent welfare of natural values globally important. The whole area consists of different ecosystems: watery, ponds, swampy, forest, of a meadow, etc. Many visitors will enjoy nature, sailing, fishing or bike riding around the town of Apatin, in the neighboring town of Sombor, praised in many songs. The Regional Park of Gornje Podunavlje was established in 1982, and occupies an area of 9996 ha which is next to the left bank of the Danube river and it marks one of the last large oases left out of the swampy wood complexes.
The Palic area offers a lot to the visitors including coach rides, sailing, a large ZOO, botanical gardens, art exhibition of the works of the naive artists, tennis courts, fitness center which is open throughout the season. You can also go for a visit to a prosperous farmstead which includes an organized lunch or to an ostrich or horse farm. Palic is situated in the north of Vojvodina, 7 km from Subotica. The water of the Palic Lake is filled with naturally occurring minerals. 
Sremski Karlovci is a small town by the Danube River and on the northern base of the Fruska Gora Mountain. It is only 12 km away from Novi Sad and about one hour drive from Belgrade.
Many important events in the history of the Serbs and Europeans took place here. The Turkish Empire and the Christian Alliance, formed by Austria, Venice and Poland at that time, made a treaty of peace here in 1699. The Chapel of Peace was built to remember the event. The nicest souvenir from Karlovci is a bottle of extraordinary wine for which the town famous for, especially for the Bermet dessert wine which is made of different herbal essences and seasonings.
Sremski Karlovci is the town where took place the most important events in Vojvodina's region through history. In the very baroque nucleus, you can see a great number of historical buildings that charm with its appearance and also with its importance. 
Today, Subotica is the second biggest town in Vojvodina. It was mentioned as a settlement back to XVI century. During the centuries it was under rule of different masters. One of the most interesting figures of its past is emperor Jovan Nenad, whose center of empire was exactly in Subotica. Subotica experienced a particularly intensive development in the XIX century. Today, Subotica is a great industrial and agricultural center and the most important town of the entire northern part of Vojvodina. The town with its surroundings possesses a lot of interesting localities for tourists. Besides the old City Hall, a monumental building from the beginning of this century with ornaments, mosaics and decorations of great art value, also stand out the Town Museum Building that is made in famous zsolnai ceramics, the Town Library and the theater building.
remska Mitrovica is situated in the southern part of Srem, on the river Sava, in the border area of Central Serbia, more exactly of Macva. It is situated on the international motorway E-70. It is connected with the regional road Novi Sad - Sabac in the direction of North-South. The International railroad track that connects West Europe with South Europe and Orient also passes through Sremska Mitrovica.
