"The time has come to bare all my emotions to you and all I can say is that you are the best in the world because only Serbian fans can throw a party like this.
"You have made the happiest day of my life even better and I dedicate this trophy to you," said Djokovic, who will lead Davis Cup holders Serbia in their quarter-final tie away to Sweden next weekend.
"We have a soul that is second to none and with the team event coming up, I can promise you we will do everything in our power to win it all again," he added.

Direct charter flights from Belgrade to Toronto and Chicago from 3rd June 2011
The Ministry of Infrastructure has given its consent for the issuance of a license for charter flights from Belgrade to Toronto and Chicago.
As of summer, these flights will be operated by the U.S. air transportation company Ryan International Airlines, says State Secretary for Air Traffic Miodrag Miljkovic.
The U.S. airline has filed a request for the issuance of a license to the Directorate for Civil Aviation of Serbia and, since the Ministry has given the green light, it is now up to the Directorate to do the technical part of the work.
Katarina Andric-Milosavljevic, a representative of the Directorate, says that Ryan International Airlines is interested in establishing Toronto-Belgrade-Toronto and Belgrade-Chicago-Belgrade charter flights and operating them in the period between June 3 and October 29, 2011.
People at the Directorate say it is the first time in 19 years that a company from the USA has filed a request for the issuance of a license for flights to Canada and the USA and add that everything is ready for intercontinental flights since even the strictest security criteria are met.
Miljkovic says that Serbia should get the "category 1" for the establishment of intercontinental regular flights, which it lost at the beginning of this century, as well as that the Ministry has already filed a request to the U.S. aviation authorities for the issuance of the appropriate certificate "since we meet all almost all of their requests".
Year by year, the biggest, the most popular and the most exclusive mountain resort in Serbia has re-affirmed its winter tourism leading position. This year, Mt. Kopaonik is preparing to welcome its guests by offering new facilities and renewed and refreshed tourist attractions.
The 2010/2011 skiing and holidaying season on Mt. Kopaonik was formally opened with the first snow on December 11 last year. Following the example of other European ski centers, for the first time this year ‘ski opening’ was marked by the first downhill race on the Karaman Greben ski trail, covered with both natural and artificial snow. As many as 1,500 guests stayed on Mt. Kopaonik the following weekend.
Roof of Serbia, Silver Mountain or Mountain of the Sun, as Mt. Kopaonik is also called, this year celebrates 30 years since its outstanding ski terrains were registered with the International Ski Federation and it received the status of an international ski center and national park, having met meeting all the conditions for developing winter, summer and health tourism. In only ten years since the resort’s inception, through 1991, as many as 57 km of ski tracks were made available on Mt. Kopaonik, while accommodation capacity rose from the initial 400 to almost 5,000. In a short while, Mt. Kopaonik became both a Yugoslav as well as a European hit. At the peak of winter season, guests may find vacancies only if ‘well connected’. This ski resort is particularly popular with the English.
Following last season said to have been one of the worst seasons recorded in recent years, travel agencies made an additional effort to better prepare for the coming winter season. Compared with the previous season, prices are lower and artificial snow now can be supplied if natural snow is lacking. New ski lifts were built, new ski trails were being prepared and opened, old accommodations renovated and new ones built.
Nikola Avram, director general of MK Mountain Resort, comprising the four-star Grand Hotel & Spa, the recently opened fourstar Angella Family Hotel and the Konaci Sunčani Vrhovi suites (Sunny Peaks lodging suites), pointed out that depending on the period of stay prices in these hotels dropped by as much as 35 percent from last year.
– However, more favorable prices are not the only convenience for our guests, every section of our services has been enhanced. Also, considering the significantly higher prices in accommodations and hotels of same category in the region (Slovenia, Austria), we expect the number of tourists to increase by 40 percent compared to the previous year - Avram said, adding that:
Besides the domestic market - to which MK Mountain Resort pays highest attention - the Resort in particular focuses this season on the Russian and other eastern European markets. Two charter flights from Minsk to Niš have been agreed with Belarus partner. The company expects Mt. Kopaonik attractions to draw a minimum 30 percent of foreign tourists in the first minute booking period.
– Guests nowadays are more demanding than previously. It is not enough to offer only a comfortable and luxury room, as what they are looking for is an active and meaningful holiday, and it is our task to offer them a sufficiently attractive and innovative supply – said Avram, adding that:
– MK Mountain Resort is devoting special attention to families as a target group. With this in mind, the newly-opened Angella Hotel introduced a completely new product in the form of ‘family’ concept, based on such program of services as intended for quality family holidaying. This concept was developed only in regional ski centers in Austria. Besides light all-inclusive service, the supply includes a daily animation program with professional child care. Another large-scale project our company has been developing is the Spa & Wellness section based on Asian approach. We also would like to revive traditional Serbian cuisine in combination with elements of modern culinary art.
The Ski Resorts of Serbia has also prepared a number of innovations for this season. First of all, one six-seat chairlift and two four-seat chairlifts have been added to the ski center. The new sixseat chairlift was constructed at the Karaman Greben point with a capacity of 3,000 skiers, thus increasing the capacity by as many as 600 skiers per hour. The old ski lift at this location was relocated to Sunčana Dolina (Sunny Valley). The capacity of this four-seat chairlift is 2,070 skiers per hour. A new four-seat chairlift named Krst (Cross), with a capacity of 2,018 skiers, was also put up. Along with this ski lift, two new ski runs were prepared for beginners. Also, two connecting ski lifts were installed between the Karaman and Mali Karaman ski trails, each with a capacity of 700 skiers per hour.
About 70 percent of the ski resort is covered with an artificial snow-producing system operable throughout the winter season. The existing system has been upgraded to cover the following ski runs: Sunčana Dolina (Sunny Valley), Malo Jezero (Lesser Lake), Krst (Cross), Krčmar, Kneževske Bare, Mali Karaman, Marine Vode, Karaman complete with ski paths, i.e. 20 km of additional tracks can now be covered with artificial snow.
The Mountain Rescue service and police operating in this tourist center in collaboration with Ski Resorts of Serbia have also been engaged this year to ensure safety of all skiers. For the purpose of providing appropriate medical care, a Trauma Center equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, including an x-ray device, laboratory and in-patient clinic was opened in cooperation with the Military Medical Academy so that an orthopedic surgeon would be on duty and at the disposal of all visitors of this ski resort.
To the disappointment of investors and visitors, two largest new accommodation projects could not be completed before the winter season on Mt. Kopaonik. At the Jaram construction site, the first phase of the St. Simeon facility, covering 19,500 square meters on both sides of the regional road, is in its final stages. This settlement was named after Stefan Nemanja, Serbian saint and founder of the Serbian state. The opening of Jaram Villa, comprising 39 suites in four extraordinary houses, each bearing the name of a Serbian queen from the Nemanjić dynasty: Anastasija, Teodora, Simonida and Jelena had been announced for the 2010/2011 season. A new restaurant called Dvorska Koliba (Royal Court Lodge) is being built where once stood the popular Koliba na Jarmu (Lodge at Jaram). In the spring begins the construction of the second half of the village called Jaram Selo (Jaram Village), comprising additional 25 villas (150 suites), the Church of St. Simeon Mirotočivi (St. Simeon the Myrrh-Gusher), the five-star Carski San Hotel (Imperial Dream Hotel) and other facilities. The investor of this project worth around 25 million euros is KBM Plus of Belgrade.
A large tourist village - WEG City - comprising 66 most diversely arranged suites is under construction at Brzeće on an area about 40 ares. Its opening has been postponed until May. This complex was being built according to the highest construction industry standards and will be as luxurious as expected from world class hotels. It is located at the foot of Mt. Kopaonik, at an altitude of 1,050 m above the sea level, immediately next to the Bela Reka (White River) ski run, which is one of the widest and longest ski runs on Mt. Kopaonik. From this point, the peak can be reached by ski lift or shuttle bus, which will be carrying hotel guests to the top on a regular basis. This complex boasts various amenities for relaxation and enjoyment such as a cafe bar, restaurant, swimming pool, fitness center, wellness-spa center, billiard hall, children’s play-room, fireplace hall, parking, exchange office, automatic teller machine and conference hall.

Djokovic completely dominated the match that lasted two hours and 40 minutes, but only in the second set is relatively easy came to triumph, while he won the first and third section after great struggle. There were no breaks until Djokovic took the service from his opponent in the 10th game for 6-4 and winning the first set.
Djokovic seemed much more relaxed during this part of the match, which was confirmed in a second section that started furiously. His age is probably about a million years, although in Viminacium now is mentioned that he could be five million years old. Special rarity is that the mammoth skeleton found is almost complete. He was four meters high, six meters long and weighed about ten tons. Other mammoth remains were also found in Serbia. The largest part of the remains was found during routine excavations - during mining along the shores of large rivers in the area of ancient Panonian Sea - the Sava, Danube, Tisa and Tamis Rivers. Most preserved parts of the Mammuthus trogontherii and Mammuthus primigenius. The richest collection of mammoth remains in Serbia is in the Natural History Museum in Belgrade. While archaeologists work on the settlement of sites in Kostolac for tourist visits, tourist workers are preparing programs with the theme of mammoth roads that will be interesting for students and professionals.

Felix Romuliana near Gamzigrad in Serbia enters UNESCO list
Felix Romuliana
29 June 2007 | 13:37 | Source: B92, AP The World Heritage Committee finalized Friday 2007 additions to UNESCO's World Heritage List. Serbia’s Gamzigrad-Romuliana, Palace of Galerius is among the sites inscribed on the list Friday, alongside Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape in Azerbaijan, and Central University City Campus of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma in Mexico. The Late Roman fortified palace compound and memorial complex of Gamzigrad-Romuliana, Palace of Galerius, in the east of Serbia, was commissioned by Emperor Caius Valerius Galerius Maximianus, in the late 3rd and early 4th century. It was known as Felix Romuliana, named after the Emperor's mother. The site consists of fortifications, the palace in the north-western part of the complex, basilicas, temples, hot baths, memorial complex, and a tetrapylon. The site is described as offering a unique testimony of the Roman building tradition marked by the ideology of the period of the Second Tetrachy. The group of buildings is also unique in its intertwining of ceremonial and memorial functions. In a decision unprecedented in the history of UNESCO's Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, the Committee deleted one property, the Arabian Oryx Sanctuary, from the List because of Oman's failure to preserve the outstanding universal value of the Sanctuary. The committee said in a statement the Middle East sultanate of Oman was "destroying the outstanding universal value'' of the Arabian Oryx Sanctuary by cutting its size by 90 percent and planning to prospect for oil in the region. The Committee Thursday made five new entries on the list, among which is also Mehmed Pasa Sokolovic Bridge of Višegrad in Bosnia. After the total of 22 additions made this year in a week long session of the Committee, UNESCO's World Heritage List now numbers 851 properties.
