Motto of this year's festival is "Fun for All" by which we would like to stress that Belgrade Beer Fest is open to all visitors, both domestic and foreign, and that Belgrade is the city whose hospitality and clemency are known throughout Europe and beyond. We wish to propagate a policy of reconciliation of this region and we want our visitors to socialize, get to know each other and have fun remembering the great picture from the festival, which is certainly one of the greatest values Belgrade Beer Fest is achieving, both for Belgrade and Serbia. Nisville Jazz Festival, 11-14 August 2011
In terms of international recognition it's up there with Guča and Exit, being the largest jazz event in south-east Europe with around 100,000 fans attending each year. Nišville have five stages, more than 400 performers, 50 bands from 30 countries, and will happen from 8pm until the early hours every day. From the opening jazz parade in Trg Kralja Milana, until the close of the festival, the atmosphere in Niš is one of international spirit and infectious satisfaction. Guca Brass Festival, the largest trumpet festival in the world, 08th - 14th August 2011.

FEST 2010 - The 38th International Film Festival
The 38th International Film Festival - FEST will be held from 19th to 28th February in several locations in Belgrade. The Hall of the Sava Center, Belgrade Cultural Center and the City Film Archive will show about 70 of the best films from around the world, the laureates last edition of the festival in Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto, and movies of unknown authors.The slogan of this year’s FEST is „FEST Encourages“. The FEST will be opened with the „Morfium“ of the Russian director Aleksey Balabanov. The central event is the program review and competitors program "Europe out of Europe." Tamburitza Fest in Deronje
The third World Tamburitza Festival will be held in the small colourful village Deronje, in the close vicinity of Odzaci, in the West Backa District. The Belgrade Marathon
The Belgrade Marathon is the largest and the most visited sport event in Serbia, which is traditionally held in Belgrade. The 18th International Athletic Manifestation is going to take place on the 18th of April, 2010. The Belgrade Marathon comprises from the race of Pleasure, 5 km long, half-marathon and marathon. As a unified whole, the Children’s marathon and the Belgrade’s marathon gather a large number of participants from country and abroad. Every year more than 1.000 athletes participate in this manifestation. The Marathon of Belgrade starts at the Church of St. Mark on the Boulevard of King Alexander ( Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra ). Hay making on Rajac
Hay making on Rajac is a traditional economic and touristic manifestation, which is held every year at the end of July, on the first Sunday after St. Peter’s day. Rajac is one of the most attractive mountain in the group of Valjevo Mountains with floral meadows and green groves. Slopes of Rajac are the right places for these kind of manifestations. The manifestation symbolizes the celebrative end of the mowing of mountain meadows. Mowers which participate are dressed in peasant costumes, with straw hats and various coloured bags on their shoulders. At the end of the mowing the best mower, with the best costume, statue and song, is called ’’djidjija“ or ’’kozbasa’’, who is going to be the leader of the next mowing. The event has international character. By now there were participants from United Kingdom, Island, Romania, Russia, Netherlands, Hungary. Mowers from Republic of Srpska and Montenegro participate every year, too. Originally dance and sing groups from nearby villages in peasant costumes, dining traditional cuisine served on kilims and white sheets are real adventure. There are around 50 competitions in hay making around the world, but certainly the largest manifestation of this kind is on Rajac, which gathers more and more visitors every year. During the manifestation visitors have the opportunity to discover the culture, tradition and nature of this area, to taste the most delicious Serbian cuisine, to feel the nature and its magic.

EXIT is the most famous and most popular music festival in Europe. Kovilj is famous village centuries of rich history and tradition with monastery from XIII century.The first half of July is a period when mulberry is ripe and ready for the making of rakija. The full day program includes the making of rakija, cooking dishes like Vojvodinian stew, beans, and barbecuing. You can get familiar with the ways of preparation and the making of homemade rakija as well as participate in the tasting of local products. The afternoon is reserved for a cultural and artistic program. Then follows the declaration of the winner of the rakija competition, and for your pleasure, an auction sale of rated rakijas. Prices at the auction are symbolic. The evening part of the program is followed by the sounds of tambourine music until the early morning hours. If you are already in Kovilj, be sure to visit the birthplace of Laza Kostic, famous Serbian writer, the Monastery of Kovilj, a tavern called "End of the World" and the Arkanj Paradise arms of the Danube. Sausage Fest in Turija
Sausage Fest, with a tradition of more than twenty five years, is celebrated in the village of Turia. Sausage Fest will be held from February 5th to 7th 2010. Turija is located near Novi Sad. Every year the butchers join forces to try to bring down a world record in making the longest sausage in the world. The record sausage was 2,025 meters long and weighing 2.5 tons. It was made in only four days and sold in record time - an hour and a half. This story will make any gourmet curious; it all started when local residents wanted to see whose sausage was better. With lots of good times, fun, wine, and snacks, every year the competition attracted more and more domestic and foreign tourists. The curious came because they wanted to see "what was all the fuss about”.In the making of this giant, about 4 tons of meat, 100 kilograms of salt and pepper, and 10 pounds of pepper and garlic were used. The recipe was jealously kept secret by hosts. In addition to this high end gourmet specialty, you can try pork and mutton stew, and other specialties. There is also an all you can eat sausage competition. With good food and drinks comes good music: at this festival you'll hear tambourines, performances of cultural societies, and famous folk stars adding to this lively event. Festival of ham in Zlatibor
"Zlatiborska prsutijada" is traditional festival of ham which will be held from 15th to 17th January 2010 in Mackat. Mackat is the famous village on Mountain of Zlatibor in western Serbia, where hundreds of years is cherished tradition of ham production. In this region feel the influences of mediterranean and continental climate and in this area is "wind rose" which is one of the main reasons for production of quality ham.The Fair will be held in yard of the church, one of the oldest churches in Zlatibor. On the fair many vendors will be present their delicatessen products as beef, swine and sheep ham, bacon, sausage. For the first time visitor of this event will decide who is the best producers. Each visitor can vote for manufacturers whose products he liked, and thus participate in the contest. Kustendorf is a famous film and music festival which will be held in the ethno village Drvengrad on the hill Mecavnik at Mountain of Mokra Gora. The third Kustendorf Festival will be held from 13 to 19 January 2010th. Kustendorf was founded by famous film director Emir Kusturica. The festival is dedicated to future filmmakers whose films shown in competition and the great contemporary authors of the film. The program includes five units: the competitive retrospective of the great, modern trends, and the evergreen music program. Awards that will be given to the best are the gold, silver and bronze egg. In the competition part will be participating of more than 300 movies by young film students and film schools from all over the world. The jury will find the best-known names from the world film industry. Program retrospective will be dedicated to the great actor's Johnn Deep, who will be honored guest of the festival. Program Modern trends will be feature some of the best films of last year's production and their authors, guests of the festival, which will hold the workshop.
